Sanctuary

China Cove, Point Lobos State Park, is one of the most beautiful natural sites in the world. The sea floor of the cove is granitic, made from granite. The white sand bottom and the reflection of the sky always creates beautiful colors ranging from aqua, turquoise to Kelly green. The painting was exhibited at the California Art Club show, "Point Lobos and Beyond" at Carmel Visual Art. I am very excited that it was purchased by a couple from China and will be hung at their home in Shanghai!  How interesting to have my painting so far away, enjoyed by many who have never seen our beautiful coast.
